You will use it all the time. Tampons. They are expensive here. Make-up. You will use it. They dress up here, it´s not like you permanently live in the jungle. And it´s more expensive over here. Chacos. Bring a pair or two. I live in them. A sleepsack. Mine´s silk and packs up really small. A pillow. (I love my pillow).

It's just me trying to figure out this crazy life. Wednesday, December 03, 2008. Holla at your girl. My friends and I ended up buying a live rooster for a thanksgiving bird. But my cocinero peaced out on the earliest boat (and I have no idea how to kill a rooster, let alone the courage). My friends in China have a family who will be joining their team soon, and they were in Colorado this week for training. I called them and invited them over last night to connect with them about our mutual friends and interests. I was bustling around the kitchen making iced tea and scrounging for acceptable "guest food" when my brother Nathan came up.

Greta, Dave turned our chins up to the sky last night and looked at the stars- I hadn't seen them in a really long time. "It's so cool that you can see the stars out here! I said.
