The sun will be 90-95% covered by the moon during the peak at about 10:50 am. If the sky is clear, we will be able to see an amazing event! Ojika English 小値賀 英語. English Blog for the island of Ojika. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Hokusho Nishi High School has been hit hard by the flu. Today, 35 students are home sick. That is more than 1/3 of the school! So far, only 1 teacher has gotten sick. Yesterday to give students a chance to recover, and last Friday's picnic was cancelled. We are going to fire up some brats on my new chrome polished (it wouldnt be japan if it wasnt over-the-top shiny! Experiences from a small island in the East China Sea. Wednesday, November 19, 2008. Long time, no see. Long time since my last post. The time has been flying by in the last month. I'm not even sure exactly what I have done. I made a trip to Nagasaki about a week ago, and although being in the city can be fun for a while, It always feels good to come back out to the island.
