Rooms & Rates. Winter (till 30 Sept 2016): $100 NZD. Summer (From 1 Oct 2016):. Our newer three bedroom lodge which sleeps 6 was built in 2007 and consists of 3 en suite rooms which can be made up as Twins or Super Kings. This is a very elegant building with bamboo floors and tasteful décor and a roaring log fire for those winter nights. There is a large kitchen and dining area featuring a spectacular solid-wood dining table which can easily sit 16 people at once, perfect for larger groups!

Okarito Beach House | Directions

Rooms & Rates. Access to Okarito is by your own vehicle as there is no bus service, so be sure to keep this in mind. The bus services will drop you at the turn-off but this is still 13km away. The Okarito Beach House is located on The Strand which is the main road through Okarito. We are on the left, about 50 metres past Okarito Nature Tours (which is probably the first building you’ll see in Okarito). We look forward to seeing you. Travel safe!

Rooms & Rates. Okarito has much to offer to those who love nature. There are beautiful walks which take in the West Coast’s rugged coastline, beautiful lagoons and enchanting rainforests with an abundance of birdlife to follow you along. We have three tour operators in the village offering excellent tours with extensive knowledge. With Franz Josef just a short 25min drive away you can also find multiple activities close by; everything from horse trekking to helicopters.
