Good Use of a Saturday. Yesterday, Steve and I spent a few hours putting bikes together. The Salvation Army had over 800 bikes that needed to be assembled for Christmas. It was a fun way to spend the morning. There's an older mall in the area that has very few stores left in it. We put the bikes together in the old JCPenney's store. It was really neat to see that many people there to help put all those bikes together. Minyin' Steve drawn by Hailey. We sure miss you guys! Hoarders : On The Road Episode.

Alaska! Now or Never!

WE HAVE RETURNED FROM OUR ALASKAN ADVENTURE! After an initial set-back involving the car, the travel trailer, and an unhappy Sophie, we left Oklahoma City on August 17 for Alaska. Twenty four days and 7,783 miles later we pulled back into the driveway. Thursday, September 8, 2011. ONE MORE DAY ON THE ROAD! We are in Kearney, NE. tonight. Our last night on the road! The good Lord willing - and the creeks don't rise - we'll arrive in OKC tomorrow afternoon. Just 445 miles to go! Tuesday, September 6, 2011.
