Expressively Emily: February 2015
http://expressivelyemily.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Welcome to my thoughts. Come on in, the water's fine. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. What does it mean it rest in peace? Something I thought about in depth this past week as my Papa passed away. He was 84, a Korean War Vet, father to 4 grandfather to 12, and a great grandfather. My brothers and cousins as pall bearers. Something most people, if not everyone wonders when a loved one dies is where have they gone? I take comfort in knowing that my Papa gave his heart to the Lord months before it was his time.

Expressively Emily: March 2015
http://expressivelyemily.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Welcome to my thoughts. Come on in, the water's fine. Saturday, March 28, 2015. Hallelujah we are free at last! It appears Spring has finally decided to make it's appearance, and not a moment too soon! I am not much of a Winter type of person so every March or April I wait for the consecutive weeks of weather in the 70's, and IT HAS ARRIVED. This picture most accurately describes spring to me, sno cones, red buds, sun burns, and days at the park. Then there's that winter weight.you started with a New...

Expressively Emily: Losing weight or losing my mind?
http://expressivelyemily.blogspot.com/2015/02/losing-weight-losing-my-mind.html
Welcome to my thoughts. Come on in, the water's fine. Thursday, February 5, 2015. Losing weight or losing my mind? It consumes my thoughts, my dreams, my stomach. DIETING. It is my least favorite thing it the whole wide world to talk about, yet I find myself talking about it constantly. It's true, I am not the size I was in high school. And while most people will tell you it's unrealistic to think you could go back to that size because you are a grown woman and things change, I refuse to believe it.

Expressively Emily: Finals week (dun dun duuunn)
http://expressivelyemily.blogspot.com/2015/04/finals-week-dun-dun-duuunn.html
Welcome to my thoughts. Come on in, the water's fine. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Finals week (dun dun duuunn). The drama surrounding finals week is too much for me anymore. Try and find a more dramatic group of people than college students and you will have accomplished something huge. While it has been a stressful time for me in the past, there are some things that don't make any sense at all to me about finals week anymore. Maybe it's because i'm a senior and older and wiser? That's a joke.ha ha). Also s...

Expressively Emily: Growing up & moving on
http://expressivelyemily.blogspot.com/2015/05/growing-up-moving-on.html
Welcome to my thoughts. Come on in, the water's fine. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. Growing up and moving on. Every year when May comes around there are graduation parties to be had, moving, job searching, etc. These things are always huge reality checks. I will not be graduating this May, instead i'll be graduating in December, and with my brother, fiance, twin, and brother-in-law all graduating this may, I have had to come to terms with it. Another thing seniors everywhere are coming to terms with? Neverland...
