Monday, August 23, 2010. A New Kind of Pico De Gallo. 1/2 cup lime juice. Chopped garlic (to taste). 1/2 jalapeno (or to taste). Blend these first three ingredients in a blender and set aside for the dressing. 1/2 to 3/4 Head of cabbage chopped bite size. 1 Onion, chopped fine. 2-3 tomatos,chopped (optional). 1/2 to 1 bunch cilantro, chopped fine. Friday, May 22, 2009. The Pirate and his Black Cat. Arrr you ready for another dress-up picture? This time we got Kyle in on the action! Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Grace's Perfect Day (and other outdoor fun). Kyle loved being outside too and he especially loves the swings. He giggles constantly while swinging! Then, we went home for a nice long nap. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. 1 Family size Cream of Chicken soup. 2 c cooked and cubed chicken. 1 c chicken broth. Mix these ingredients and heat through. Pan of cooked rice. Green onions, chopped. Cheddar cheese, grated. Green pepper, chopped. Serve the rice first then the sauce and then top with any/all toppings. Saturday, November 28, 2009. For fun, we experimented with the cold weather by sticking a raw egg outside. We let it freeze. Then we peeled it. We sometimes have to make our own fun! Thursday, March 25, 2010. 4 layer cake- marble cake, buttercream frosting, strawberry cake, buttercream frosting, marble cake, buttercream frosting and strawberry cake completely covered in buttercream frosting. then covered with marshmallow fondant. Thursday, February 10, 2011. I know, its been since October, but I really haven't forgetten about the blog, its just that I'm lazy! November was a busy month for us. We got a new vehicle and then Dad, Cali, Slade, KK and I went to Louisiana for Jenny's wedding! December brought jokes about me hitting a deer with said new vehicle. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. 32 oz Frozen Southern Style Hashbrowns. 1/2 C onions, chopped. 32 oz Chicken Broth. Put all of the above in a crockpot, cover and cook on low.
