Pasture Raised Heritage Breed Pork, Chicken, and Produce. Our laying hens, including Barred Rocks, Rhode Island Reds, Australorps and other brown egg laying heritage breeds, are also raised free range. If you don’t believe there is a difference in free range and caged eggs, just crack one of each in your frying pan. The dark yellow yolks and firm whites of free range eggs make your average store bought egg look, and taste, anemic. You can purchase our pastured chicken at the Olde Towne Butcher Shop.

Anson's BBQ Adventures: April 2015
http://ansonsbbq.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 17, 2015. One sweet rib-eye with roasted potatoes and steamed veggies. I picked up a couple of bone-in rib-eyes from Olde Towne Butcher. Last weekend. Because of how thick they were I planned to reverse-sear them on the grill. I drizzled some canola oil on them and then gave the steaks a healthy covering of my go-to beef rub, AmazingRibs.com. Double Smoked Ho...
