Sue's Blog: Progress report
http://smjl123.blogspot.com/2011/08/progress-report.html
Thursday, 4 August 2011. It is my own fault – I got side tracked by. Mr Wroe’s Virgins. And Angela Carter’s. And I’m looking longingly at Neil Gaiman’s oeuvres that I would rather be reading. I have read three and a half books so far. I enjoyed James Kelman’s gritty Scottish. And Helen Simpson’s. Hey Yeah Right Get a Life. I struggled with Jim Crace’s. The best one so far is Tim Winton’s. I’m impressed with the reading list so far. Posted by Sue's Blog. 7 August 2011 at 08:54. Jim Crace’s Being Dea...

My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Sunday, January 5, 2014. The Sydney Opera House. With the Christmas/New Year celebrations over, I've begun 2014 the way I do every year - by motivating myself to make some changes. Hopefully, this is the year I can make it happen. Not that I want to make enormous changes - just the usual: to lose weight and get healthy and to make goals towards a fulfilling career with purpose. By motivational speaker, Andrew Griffiths. Although G...

Rantings of a Middle-Aged College Student: May 2012
http://traveling-thru-time.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Rantings of a Middle-Aged College Student. Monday, May 21, 2012. Friday, May 18, 2012. That's when I got excited! Yesterday I was picking out my graduation clothes and I tried on my cap. That's when I started crying. By 2009 I was finally in my degree program- history. I had come a long way, but at this point I was still expecting to fail. Each class I began had me wondering- will this be the class that I fail? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Ozarks, United States. View my complete profile.

My Life as a Mature Age Student: Book worm
http://mylifeasamatureagestudent.blogspot.com/2012/12/book-worm.html
My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Wednesday, December 5, 2012. With the heat hitting an all time high here in Oz, I've got the excuse of lolling about in the air conditioning, which gives me lots of time to read. First up was J K Rowling's adult fiction,. The Casual Vacancy -. Tiny Bit Marvellous -.

Semester two is officially over - u-huh, oh yeah - (just imagine me doing a happy dance)! At last, now that I'm no longer doing summer semester. My Life as a Mature Age Student. The ramblings of a mother, wife, student. Sunday, March 4, 2012. The week that was. Http:/ www.easyvectors.com/. After my near nervous breakdown last week. I have finally come back to my senses. I refuse to quit uni just because I've had a stressful week and I realise there are more important things to be worrying about. I'm so grateful they are all healthy and happy and I know I have their support even though at times it's hard to see! Thursday, March 1, 2012. While wait...

Bits and Pieces about This and That gathered together from Here and There mostly by Myself. The funeral tea-party was nearly over - if indeed such an elegant collation of smoked salmon, caviar and canapés, mille-feuilles, passion fruit pavlova and a sculpted ice swan could properly be described as a mere tea-party. Katerina Ivanova leaned against the wall and pondered upon the ceremony and the demeanour of her hostess. She had enjoyed neither. Over-consumption has contrived to get their priorities right.
