Well now that I live in the desert, and it so super hot here, we have to find ways to stay cool in the summer. They have these places called "Splash Pads" with water features for the kids to run through. Alahna LOVES them and has a blast every time we go. Here are a few pictures from our last trip to one. Since I had posted about the name Sophia and why we were going to name the baby that, I thought I should add an entry about how and why we changed it. It had never been on my name list before and wasn't really a name I'd ever really thought about. But it absolutely felt right and had the beautiful, classic girly qualities I like in a girl's name. Well, there seems to be a theme with my younger kids. Grace, while not a name of a person in the Bible, means the grace of God, her middle name Elisabeth (spelled that way) is Biblical.
