Almost completed is a knife block I have been working on with some friends. We used our larger CNC to cut out the individual profiles from wood, then sandwiched them together and filled the cavity with molten lead free solder. The solder adds an aesthetic element, but acts functionally as a counterweight. It came out looking really nice, stay tuned for the final product! Built a custom CNC package for a Sherline mill!
