Almost completed is a knife block I have been working on with some friends. We used our larger CNC to cut out the individual profiles from wood, then sandwiched them together and filled the cavity with molten lead free solder. The solder adds an aesthetic element, but acts functionally as a counterweight. It came out looking really nice, stay tuned for the final product! Built a custom CNC package for a Sherline mill! Revision 2 is here! A proof-of-concept robot I am building. At it's heart is a 5V arduino pro mini with a motor controller and a 70MHz am receiver. The receiver is being replaced with an electric imp wifi enabled microcontroller so that the bot can be controlled from this website! Power is provided by two li-polymer batteries. Was used to re-flash the arduino communication chip so that it would be recognised as a USB controller. Copy 2016 Chris Benjamin.
