Inspirational Children's Books. Books — Something From Nothing. December 5, 2014. My Rating: 10 out of 10. Is a picture book adaptation by author/illustrator Phoebe Gilman of an old Jewish folksong . The main story itself is great. But then there’s the additional story told all in pictures at the bottom of the pages of the mice who benefit from the leftovers of each transition. I especially like picture books that make the most of the medium by adding lots of information via the pictures.
