Christmas Dancing Show | Sara & Mark's Big Adventure!
https://ouradventure.wordpress.com/2015/01/03/christmas-dancing-show
Sara and Mark's Big Adventure! Now featuring twice the adventure! January 3, 2015. Our final Christmas program of the year was Margo’s mini recital for her Tippi Toes class. This one was even more mini than her fall recital – mostly parents, come to see the girls and one boy perform at the end of their last class before Christmas. And it was adorable, of course! First dance – the Tippi Toes theme song:. I made sure to clap after the rest of the songs, though! Third dance – Winter Wonderland:.

Sara and Mark's Big Adventure! Now featuring twice the adventure! July 4, 2015. Happy Independence Day from our two little firecrackers! We went blueberry picking this morning and on the way home in the car, we read the Declaration of Independence out loud. The kids were remarkably patient during the reading. When it was over, Mark said “Well, Margo, what do you think? 8221; And she said, “Good! Henry’s Call →. One thought on “ Our Little Sparklers. July 5, 2015 at 12:06 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

View from the Hawks Nest. Perched at the intersection of mother and marketer. Where to Send Compliments. Tuesday, May 27, 2014. If I have learned one thing about motherhood in eight years doing it, it is that nothing should surprise me. But yet, I am so surprised at how emotional I am about one thing in particular. My sister says it’s the hormones. But now, feeding my baby isn’t a chore. It’s a bond. In fact, it’s a gift. And it’s ending. And it’s just so surprisingly sad. I am because they are. School T...

by the brooke: Coco-Puff
http://bythebrooke.blogspot.com/2015/05/coco-puff.html
Eliza's Story and Baby Loss. Thursday, May 21, 2015. Oh, my Coco. I keep a one line a day journal, and I feel kind of bad about the fact that Coco seems to play such a supporting role in it. I started it when Zuzu was born, but now that Zuzu talks so much, my entry is often something funny that she has said, or an update on potty-training, or note of an epic temper tantrum, and poor Coco's easy-going babyhood gets less attention. But she's so great. Will work for Coco the way it did for her sister.).

View from the Hawks Nest. Perched at the intersection of mother and marketer. Where to Send Compliments. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. A Short Reflection on a Short Year. We are a blessed family of FIVE. We survived the Great House Remodel. And I even managed not to maul any of the contractors who spent my entire maternity leave in the house with me. We are fighting the vicious beast that is ADHD and though it's an exhausting daily battle for all of us, I believe we mark a W on more days than not. They say...

our advent | living in the not yet
Living in the not yet. Happy Gender non-Essentialist Mother’s Day! God rejoices that he is our Father, and God rejoices that he is our Mother. Julian of Norwich was a Christian mystic of the 14th century who was keenly aware of the motherly love of God. She wrote about God as masculine and feminine, father and mother. As Katherine Attanasi notes in her excellent article. Motherhood is not daily childcare it’s something entirely above that, whether you stay at home with your kids or not. Being a paren...

Our Adventure Awaits...
April 5, 2012. The unknown is scary. We've been house hunting the last few days here at Camp Lejeune, our future home in about 6 weeks. It's been a struggle to find a decent rental without paying out the nose or having to deal with horrible base traffic. I was so looking forward to not having to deal with traffic anymore! Pictures are loading wayyy to slow and the beach rental must be cleaned before we leave. Will post more pictures about the beach from home! Links to this post. March 16, 2012. Because o...

Our Adventure Book: Mat & Amy in Africa
New Zealand – South Island. March 17th, 2014. In Christchurch we found that many museums and buildings were still closed due to the February 2011 earthquake. Most of the buildings hadn’t been razed but structural damage made them unsafe so we stayed out of doors and visited the botanical gardens. In Queenstown, we enjoyed exploring and spent one day going out to Milford Sound on the Tasman Sea on the West Coast. We took a guided bus tour and boat ride. The seas were rough again but we had a blast! Eek, a...
