I had to sign her up for swimming lessons on the days she doesn't have school to keep her from going crazy in anticipation of the next school day. Gavin became a cub scout in April when he turned 8. Friday, September 7, 2012. Night before 1st surgery. Wide eyed baby boy. I didn't realize at the time how hard(as a mother) that would be to do. So, here we are. Over two and half years later and we're faced everyday with things that are hard for him. And we have to make him do them no matter how frustrated he is or how much he's crying. S is great at it! I know it's best to push him and make him learn, but it SO heart-breaking and I just want to do it for him. If I could take it away for him I would!

Saturday, July 30, 2011. Splash from my past. We took the twins to a local pool a while ago and it was a DISASTER! They hated it. Cried the whole time! 45 min straight crying. We finally threw in the towel and went home. I was baffled. They love baths but hated swimming so I decided to try swimming on a smaller scale. They did better.
