What I didn't expect. Percy is an energetic and precocious Buff Orpington pullet (hen) who is about 9 weeks old. Although she was "bullied" as a baby, she teases her flock and can be quite rough (but playful). As a Buff Orpington, Percy is a cold hardy chicken and soon to be egg layer. When Percy is about 22 weeks old, she will lay white eggs.
