Our Daily Delights
Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Today I made banana bread for three reasons. I had 4 very ripe bananas sitting on the counter. The littles and the bigs love it. I am the mom driving 4 middle school girls to track today. 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature. 2 eggs, well beaten. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 cup walnuts (optional). Makes 2 loaves. This is important! KP was so nice to never tell me what to do. He would just eat the ends and tell me how wonderful it tasted. So blessed. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, 3 July 2012. I am deeply pained again. My dear husband is at again. He is always nagging. Today was not any different. He woke up very early as usual. Sometimes he can wake up as early as 3.00am and he expects me to do the same. As early as 4.00am he started complaining. He would murmur and complain as he walks down the length and breadth of the house. My little toddler of 2 woke and was looking for him. He used it as an excuse to poke pointed jabs at me for not taking care of him. I seriously d...

In a medium mi...

Our Daily Doings
Wednesday, August 8, 2012. I took this clock - I've had it for years and just recently the blue plastic circle fell off and I decided this would be the perfect sized face for what I had in mind. I made an exact duplicate of the blue plastic circle by tracing it and cutting it out in wood. It was the very first time I've ever used a jig-saw and my hubby wasn't even home! I took my pieces of driftwood and laid them out loosely before I hot glued them on to the wood circle. So I've been painting, painting, ...
