The Diamond Age, Neal Stephenson (review) | Our Daily Read
https://ourdailyread.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/the-diamond-age-neal-stephenson-review
We read everything but palms. Laquo; Batman: The Dark Knight (2008). Devil’s Cape by Rob Rogers. The Diamond Age, Neal Stephenson (review). I’m never disappointed when I read Stephenson. It often takes me far longer than normal but his novels tend. To be LONG. Though some long novels can drag, his are always (or at least to this point have been) quite enjoyable. I picked up. Because I saw it in reference to cyborgs in general or on a syllabus for a course related to cyborgs. I cannot remember which.

We read everything but palms. Laquo; Proof volume 1: Goatsucker. Batman: The Dark Knight (2008). Man Plus, by Frederik Pohl (review). Perhaps it is a sign of my limited scope, but I am consistently struck by how diverse science fiction authors and readers actually are. The other day, I learned that a friend of mine with whom I knew I shared an interest in MLB, was also an avid SF guy. We got to talking — playing the “Have you read/Do you read? Originally published in 1975 and Nebula award. It actually ma...

We read everything but palms. Laquo; Man Plus, by Frederik Pohl (review). The Diamond Age, Neal Stephenson (review). Batman: The Dark Knight (2008). I’ve never really been into watching blockbuster movies on opening day or for that matter going to late night showings. But, yesterday, proved an exception as some friends and I drove an hour to the nearest decent theater to take in the 12:02 showing of. A couple of non-movie observations:. Perhaps this is unfair but it is still worth noting. The Joker p...

We read everything but palms. Laquo; Older Entries. Devil’s Cape by Rob Rogers. July 27, 2008. Was a bit like the recent birth of my daughter: lots of set-up followed by a mad dash toward the finish line followed by a feeling of satisfaction. Mud colored covers: not appealing. Yes it’s an oversimplification of what new fatherhood feels like, but I’m not working on a lot of sleep here. Good superhero names for once. My daugher is the better of the two of course. Proof volume 1: Goatsucker. July 14, 2008.

Our Daily Reflection | Our Time Together with Him
Our Time Together with Him. April 26, 2012. Easter Sunday a handful of years ago, Elsa and I volunteered at the Capuchin soup Kitchen in downtown Detroit, serving a meal to the homeless and less fortunate in the area. When we arrived they gave us baker hats to cover our heads and broke us into teams. Elsa was assigned to work in the back, and I had the lucky privilege of serving the meals. A big-eared, freckle-faced kidalas, Howdy Doody! 8230;Love to all, Gregory. April 26, 2012. I am not sure if you all...
