Wine made with certified organically grown grapes simply means that there are no pesticides, fungicides, synthetic fertilizers or chemicals allowed on the vines or in the soil. Our Daily Wines are USDA Organic Certified, which requires certification of both the vineyards and the winemaking facility. How to we accomplish this? Our wines do not contain proteins that occur naturally in wheat, rye, barley and other types of hybrids of these grains.

The vision for Our Daily Wines was inspired by the purest of things: children. Our founder, Tony Norskog, had been making wine commercially for a number of years when he decided it was time to make wine in a more environmentally friendly way. For starters, he wanted his children to be able to run through vineyards and not be exposed to any potentially harmful chemicals.

The grapes for Our Daily Wines are sourced from organic vineyards around California’s Central Valley, including the Lodi area. The Central Valley’s consistent dry climate, warm weather and well-drained soils are key factors in successful organic winegrowing. The climate allows the fruit to ripen earlier, reducing the risk for weather-related issues such as mildew and mold. We do not add sulfites to Our Daily Wines because we want a ‘pure’ wine free of preservatives. 750ml, 1.5L box.

Her secret was to make a roux like sauce with the warm bacon, onions and mustard and mix it in with warm potatoes. As the spuds cool they absorb the flavors of the sauce giving the salad a more intense flavor. Craig’s Famous Potato Salad. 5lbs red potatoes skin on cut in golf ball size chunks. 2lbs Hempler’s pepper bacon cut in 1″ slices. 1/2 cup olive oil. 1 cup Dijon mustard.
