http://www.ourfavoritereads.blogspot.com/2012/11/randy-rileys-really-big-hit.html

Saturday, November 17, 2012. Randy Riley's Really Big Hit. Randy Riley stood at bat,. He gazed out at the mound. His knees began to tremble. And his heart began to pound. What boy doesn't love baseball? Randy Riley certainly does. But there's just one problem. Then Randy started thinking. About the pitchers throw. And wondered, without gravity. How far the ball would go. But something beyond baseball. Brought a smile to Randy's face. What Randy Riley really loved. Was stuff from outer space. This book wa...

Road to a Triathlon. Training log to help keep track of progress and obstacles in reaching my goal of competing in an Olympic level triathlon this year. Saturday, April 29, 2006. Today I completed my triathlon that I've been training for since January 6th. There was an official triathlon an hour away, but I was getting frustrated with logistics and hefty fees and decided to just do one by myself. Adam babysat Penny at home and I headed over to the YMCA. It was great! I started at 10:09 am at my YMCA.

These Are The Days To Remember

Saturday, June 30, 2012. FORTY, Fabulous and FINALLY Over the Hill! In celebration of my birthday, I thought I'd do something I rarely do. Be in a picture! I'm so much more comfortable behind the camera, not in front of it. I guess it's not too intimidating when you hand the camera to your 11 year old son and direct him how to take your picture. I've always said that my hair is my best feature! Let me show you why! I knew you'd agree! Because He's been preparing me, for forty years, to be right where I am.

Our Favorite Recipes | A collection of recipes by a collection of friends

A collection of recipes by a collection of friends. Beef or Lamb Curry. Frankly, I have a difficult time deciding if this is actually a “curry” recipe, but at the same time, I have to recognize that the word ‘curry’ is used pretty widely across the globe… so who cares, right? It works well as leftovers, too – provided you’ve got enough rice the next day. 3 cups raw Beef or Lamb (3/4 lb = 1 cup). 1-1/2 teaspoon Curry Powder. 1/2 can Tomato Paste. 1 small can Tomato Sauce. Cut meat into 1-1/2 inch cubes.
