Ramblings of a Wife and Mother: August 2011
http://ramblingsofawifeandmother.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. This past weekend, we braved four airports (2 of them twice) and the big bad TSA with our three small children! What inspired us to such madness? A family wedding.what else? A few low points:. 1) Waiting in line for over an hour to get our rental car, after having already traveled for about ten hours. Caleb fell asleep on the floor of the (remote) Hertz rental building at the Denver airport. 4) Running through the Denver airport, holding Lydia and our four carry-ons with the boy...

Ramblings of a Wife and Mother: Our Home School
http://ramblingsofawifeandmother.blogspot.com/2013/10/our-home-school.html
Wednesday, October 9, 2013. In mid-July this summer, just a couple of weeks before the mad rush for school supplies, Marcus and I made the decision to try homeschooling the boys. So far, it has been a smashing hit for all involved. The kids love it, I love it and Marcus loves it. All for different reasons, but with equal fervor :). Marcus loves being exempt from the struggle with his coworkers for time off during school breaks (we can vacation whenever! I don't say things like this as often as I should, ...

Ramblings of a Wife and Mother: January 2013
http://ramblingsofawifeandmother.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 31, 2013. I have been working on our family scrapbook the past week, and in the process I've been reading over blog entries from 2010. I realized that without the blog, I would have no idea what we'd been up to three years ago. And that has motivated me once again to sign on and write something about our lives as often as I can. Friday, October 28, 2011. DeSoto Caverns Fun Park. This past weekend, we headed out to spend a family day at the Old Baker Farm. Our favorite pumpkin patch. When we arrived, the place was so packed we decided to think up a Plan B. A few more miles down the road was a place we'd planned to visit for a long time, but had never made it out to. We decided that that gorgeous fall day would be perfect for exploring DeSoto Caverns Family Fun Park. Caleb shooting a bow and arrow for the first time. My goal is to...
