Frozen package of soysage lurking at the bottom of the freezer. Thawed it out, used it for lunches, and it was generally ok. But clearly it got left a bit too long in the crisper-. Luckily, the Provolone being cheese, we just scrapped off the mold. Good as new! Monday, June 4, 2007. We save the coffee grounds for composting; this began molding before getting taken to the composter. The blue against the dark coffee is particularly striking! Friday, June 1, 2007. Tried the Baked Mahogany Tempeh- terrific! 1 lb tempeh, cut into 2 inch bars. 1/4 c soy sauce. 1/4 tsp grd coriander.

So, in a span of 3 weeks, way back in the middle of August, we decided to move to Grinnell, then packed up our house and set sail (well, more like the cruise control) for Iowa! Here is my favorite family photo of 2012. We are in the garage, in the middle of one of the craziest times in our lives, and we are still having fun! We spent many weeks up at the cabin, a week at a family reunion in WI, and swam, swam, swam! Then, we packed up the house, had a garage sale (we made over $1,000! Our new blue house!
