We decided to amend our Alaskan adventures to include more trips. Today we visited the nearby National Bison Range where we were fortunate to see a black bear,. Many bison, mountain sheep, pronghorn antelope, and mule deer. It was so much fun to see all of these animals on our two hour drive. Journeys End (but not the end).

Wednesday, March 19, 2014. What's up, buttercup? Guess what time of year it is? What happens during the spring? I rework my GARDEN! My tulips are already emerging and our trees are full of buds. There's something so invigorating about getting your hands in the dirt, don't you think? Boxwoods smell horrible when they are watered (okay mom, you were RIGHT). In the meantime, here is a little familial inspiration for the kids and I celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Now go plant your potatoes! I am a herbivore!
