Renovating our old yellow house! Jon and I are renovating our new (old) home. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. Ugh, not going to happen! We rented a concrete breaker for $85/day on Saturday and since they are closed on Sunday we got it for an extra day. It doesn't look like they have done any work there since tuesday, I think they are waiting for the garden doors to come so they can install them. Our Alaskan adventures and beyond. The National Bison Range. Posted by Tom and Linda Mertz. Asymp; Leave a comment. We are parked at Polson RV Resort on Flathead Lake in Montana. We decided to amend our Alaskan adventures to include more trips. Today we visited the nearby National Bison Range where we were fortunate to see a black bear,. Many bison, mountain sheep, pronghorn antelope, and mule deer. It was so much fun to see all of these animals on our two hour drive. Journeys End (but not the end).

Wednesday, March 19, 2014. What's up, buttercup? Guess what time of year it is? What happens during the spring? I rework my GARDEN! My tulips are already emerging and our trees are full of buds. There's something so invigorating about getting your hands in the dirt, don't you think? Boxwoods smell horrible when they are watered (okay mom, you were RIGHT). In the meantime, here is a little familial inspiration for the kids and I celebrating St. Patrick's Day. Now go plant your potatoes! I am a herbivore!
