Living the life of gardening high on the low spot of a North Carolina mountaintop. Friday, August 7, 2015. They are spreading abundantly. The plant forms colonies by rhizomes. New colonies are formed by seed. Gardy won't dead head a meadow and when he does dead head elsewhere, the seeds come home to be flung. It can take a few years from seed to flower. By the time there is a discernible amount of more, I can't be sure how it happened. Was it from seeds brought home? Was it from a refusal to dead head?

I did finish weeding vetch out of someone's iris and daylilies in the sunny utility meadow. There was a late start and an early finish. I was hampered by a lack of enthusiasm. Unless it bites, stings or crawls on me with sharp feet, or sadly enough, if I should swallow one, I don't pay any mind to the bees and the bugs, except for the butterflies. Butterflies are like floating flowers. I pass over the creek and through a meadow on my way to supper many nights. There is rarely a need to drive. Even a late blooming lily with a floating flower on top. Christopher C. NC.

I was told to keep out, not your job. Over the years I have watched a once fine landscape get engulfed by the forest. Ya know, there is a fine landscape under there. It would look so much better if it was cleaned out." Like I need more work. The commons contacted the absentee owner and I was given a $250 budget and told to go in there.
