After 16 hours of travel we safely arrived in Calgary AB! Around 8 pm (Alberta time) we arrived at the hotel the girls are staying in and met up with the two other sites. After farewells and a very busy hour of unloading two trailers and reloading another with all the boys luggage, from each of the sites, all the boys headed off to Canmore.

It was a very meaningful experience with a lot of laughter! Global Shores is another organization that we volunteered with. Students helped children with their homework, played and even went on a field trip with them to a science museum! Students also did odd jobs here and there like painting and cutting the grass. The next day we embarked on a 3 day canoe trip on Shoal Lake. The weather was warm and sunny, the canoes were sturdy and strong and the students were friendly and fun.
