Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Owen had a day of questions. He asked a LOT of questions. Here are a few:. How does your body work? What if you didn't have a brain? Where is Green Lantern from? What are his powers? What if the earth spun faster? What if you breathed in potato chips in space? How big was Mt. Rainier before it exploded? What do you mean you don't know? How many animals died from Mt. Saint Helens explosion? Why is Darth Vader bad? What do jails look like? The alli...

They emailed them to us. so here are even more pictures! My fixer men. (the tires in the back-ground cost over $700 a piece. Each monorail has over 120 tires! Thom and the boys. The boys loved their ride! But also loved the exit turn-styles. Again, what an amazing opportunity and adventure! They let the boys spray the hose. which is always fun! Next, we drov...

Family of Four:: Home
http://nightshiftjunkie.blogspot.com/2014/08/home.html
Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Wednesday, August 13, 2014. We had a fantastic trip. 11 days away from home, and Owen had only two melt downs (I think). He's such a great traveler. We were all happy to get home, and luckily, we were able to fly on Alaska Airlines Disneyland 737. Not that it matters from the inside, but it's fun to see on the outside. As soon as we got home, Owen started preparing for our next big trip: Hawaii. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Blogs I like to look at. Look what I cooked!

Family of Four:: July 2014
http://nightshiftjunkie.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. We hiked with Nick, Brock and Porter at Cooper Mountain. There was a decent sized thunder storm going on, but the ranger said it was OK to hike, just don't touch the trees, and if we get too close to the lightning, lay on the ground. I would like to add that I feel hiking with someone taller than you must also help prevent being struck by lightning. The boys found a little pond, and Brock caught a teeny tiny frog. Tom almost was attacked by a lion.

Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. With the weather as stormy and as cold as it was. and with Henry hating the wind and cold, we spent a lot of time inside. We enjoyed watching movies (Star Wars, and Shrek 2), playing with Legos and doing puzzles. Owen is starting to love UNO. We had a perfect, relaxing vacation. Owen built a special bed for Pengu. Owen and Lucas at our new favorite breakfast place: Firehouse Grill. Owen has discovered the joy of writing in the sand. Owen on the wa...

Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Thursday, September 4, 2014. First Day of First Grade. Owen started school on September 2nd. He said, he was "excited, not super excited, but pretty excited.". I asked him what he wanted to be, assuming he'd say hair dresser, his normal replay for the past two years. But, instead, he said nurse. When I asked why, he replied "that way I get to stay up all night and see more of my family, just like you." Love that kid! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Blogs I like to look at.

Family of Four:: Henry, back to the beach
http://nightshiftjunkie.blogspot.com/2014/08/henry-back-to-beach.html
Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Thursday, August 14, 2014. Henry, back to the beach. It was a beautiful day, and the water was perfect to walk through. Owen wanted to get started with digging right away. Owen has helped us so much over the past 33 weeks, and he knew he needed to dig. So, we all started to dig. Bob and Amy, Mom and Dad met us there, and we dug. Of course taking breaks to play too. Owen took a bit to dry out in the sun. He was the only one who had spare clothes to drive home dry in. Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Monday, June 23, 2014. SIlver Falls: North Falls Hike. On our last morning, we took another hike to North Falls and Upper North Falls, making four of ten falls. Owen woke up at 8:00! I suppose all the walking the day before caught up a little. Penguin helped Owen get ready for a pancake breakfast. The Friedlers getting ready to hike again. Owen was the trail blazer. Owen and Lucas went further out, they took this self-portrait. Think their related? Time to head back up.

Family of Four:: Seattle
http://nightshiftjunkie.blogspot.com/2014/08/seattle.html
Lucas, Marla, Owen and Henry. Thursday, August 14, 2014. We drove up to Seattle to see our friends Heather, Jen and Luke. and to watch another airshow. This time with the Navy Blue Angels. Heather has a friend who just bought a house with a beautiful view of Lake Washington, and a quick walk to a perfect (free) spot to watch the show. Our spot had lake side seating, which was great for the boys. Owen, with the Blue Angels in the background. Show center was just to our right. Blogs I like to look at.
