A Dutch Ham radiostation. Ham Radio de Luxe. For logging contacts, regardless the mode, one can use socalled logbook software. With the more extended logbooks one can also keep tracks of his/her DXCC status, awards, etc. In most cases the "stand-alone" programs also have the capability to use them to make (digital) contacts, but also to control your radio, your rotor, etc. It is also possible to obtain assistance from the specialised forums, but ofcourse only after you read the manual. A Dutch Ham radiostation. Though being a member of eQSL and LotW I prefer 'paper' QSL-cards. Being a member of the Veron section R27 (Kanaalstreek), I sent and receive my cards via the Dutch QSL Buro. Normally I sent my cards on a monthly basis. I only send cards direct, with greenstamps included, when:. I need the card for a new DXCC and/or award and it can only obtained by direct mail. I support a DX-pedition. In all other cases cards will be send via the Buro or they are not send at all.

A Dutch Ham radiostation. From time to time we "work" as volunteers for the 'Wolf Conservation Association' at Bilstain (Belgium, loc. JO20xo). This non-profit organiation takes care of 14 Arctic and European Wolves that needed to be replaced for several reasons. A Dutch Ham radiostation. My ' radio-career' started in 1966 when I joined the Royal Netherlands Navy and became a professional radio-operator. In 1976 I changed my position and became a civil radio-operator, but still served the Navy. In 1983, when I was stationed at Curaçao (Netherlands Antilles), I received my Full Ham-license with the call PJ2RV. Soon after I returned to The Netherlands, so that call was never used. Since 1983 I am active as PA3EEG.

Welkom op de site van Jan, PA3EGH. In het begin ben ik veel actief geweest op 23 en 70 cm band. Ik heb daar erg veel DX gewerkt, dat betekend dus dat er verbindingen gemaakt zijn met alle landen in Europa. Ook heb ik in die periode veel verbindingen gemaakt via Oscar 10, satelliet communicatie. Na het behalen van het Morse examen. Was de toegang tot de HF banden (kortegolf) mogelijk. Via deze frequenties is het dagelijks mogelijk om verbindingen te maken met amateurs waar dan ook ter wereld.

Homebrew 144 MHz transceiver. Homebrew of a 144 MHz FM transceiver using PLL synthesizer. Sunday, October 3, 2010. On the web I have found a lock detector circuit for the 4046. I may build this someday. For Now I use a TX delay when repeaters are used. A good low noise preamp may help to improve sensitivity. The sensitivity is not bad but my yeasu is better.
