PAO surgery – a patients (happy) perspective. Getting used to Hospital food – days 3,4 and 5. I was getting into the hospital routine of sleeping, eating, physio, resting and being cheered up by Katerina coming to visit me. I had more hydrotherapy on day 3 (the Friday) and then some land based physio on Saturday and Sunday. 1) it’s all about the gluteus maximus (aka bum) muscle. 2) when I do the exercises and it hurts, it isn’t the bone that is causing the pain.
