The adventures and mis-adventures of our family. Sunday, September 03, 2006. We just took a trip to Seaside with Janette, Will and family. Us standing in front of the quaint little house we stayed in at Seaside. It was a convenient 2 blocks away from the beach. Janette was the bravest of us all and endured the freezing water for long periods of time searching and catching lots of crabs which she generously gave to some of the locals for eating. The adventures and mis-adventures of our family. Thursday, September 14, 2006. Rafting on the Salmon River. On Sept. 1, we went to Riggins for Jerry Jr's birthday and went rafting on the Salmon River. We camped out Friday night 10 miles upstream from Riggins. The next morning the smoke from all the forest fires came rolling down the canyon pretty thick. But after a good camp breakfast, we broke camp and started down the river.
