Life in words: I don't want to forget. After the storm, a rainbow appeared. We have our rainbow baby. Last year, I stood on that precipice and I allowed myself a fighting chance. I promised myself that I would try. It was a risk, but one I had to take for the sake of our family. We can’t explain why this time worked; it’s inexplicable. I knew what it took for my head, my heart and my being to try and recover from loss each time. Why would this time be any different? Was my body setting me up to fail?
