Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Menu Plan Monday - 10th March. We were away on holidays last week so no menu planning for me! We had a fabulous time eating out and with the friends we were staying with. I hope to get the holiday blog up soon, with photos of some of the fabulous meals (and other sights) from Western Australia. This week I am working with what is in our pantry so we will be having -. Monday - fried rice with chicken and mango chutney. Wednesday - spinach and pumpkin dahl. Friday - homemade pizza.

Sunday, February 24, 2008. Menu Plan Monday - Feb 25th. There were a few changes to last week's menu plan as plans during the week changed so we still haven't had the pumpkin and spinach dahl. Fish also wasn't great so we had lamb kebabs and couscous instead. At this stage, the week ahead is looking like -. Grilled lamb and cous cous. Steak with pesto spaghetti. Pumpkin and spinach dahl. Friday, October 30, 2009. Prawns, Scallops, Cream. 1 lb Prawns, shelled and deveined. 4 oz Scallops, cleaned. 189; cup dry white wine. 1 tbsp. Corn starch. 1 tsp Lemon juice. 1 tbsp. Chopped parsley. Melt butter in pan, add crushed garlic and cook 1minute. Add wine and cream and bring to boil, boil rapidly 3 to 4 minutes. Thursday, April 30, 2009. On Monday it was our 18th Wedding Anniversary. We decided to go out for lunch on Tuesday when we were childless hehehehehe. We decided to go to the Hog's Breath Cafe. I love this place. I've never had a bad meal yet. True to form, the food was magnificent. I had the plain Rib Fillet with curly fries, vegetables and diane sauce. Alfredo Pasta and Chicken. 500g fettuccine or tagliatelle. 1 and 1/2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese. 1 and 1/4 cups (300 ml) thickened cream. 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley. Salt and Pepper, to taste. 3 chicken breasts chopped. Add Pasta to lage pan of rapidly boiling water and cook until just tender. Drain in a colander and return to pan. While pasta is cooking, heat butter in a medium pan over low heat. Add parmesan and cream, bring to the boil, stirring regularly.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Tonight's dinner is Corned Beef crockpot style. A big hunk of corned beef. Mine was about 2 kgs). 3 tblspns of brown sugar. 1 cup of vinegar. Water to cover beef. Cook for 8 hrs slowly. Edited to update with dinner plated. Sorry took photo with my phone. Creamy mashed potato, steamed beans and carrots. And melt in your mouth Corned Beef. I tried it last week and it was awesome. 1 medium onion, chopped. 2 bell peppers, diced (use red and green). 15 T minced garlic. 1 fresh jalapeno pepper,. 1 T cumin seed. 1 T dried leaf oregano. 2 c cooked black beans. 15 c canned chopped tomatoes in puree *.
