I got to skip school today and go with my Dad and his friends (old New Zealand missionaries - circa 1971 - 73) to the Energy Solutions Arena. This is in front of the door to the Jazz locker room. Me and my friend, Doug Wilson, in the executive boardroom. This is where the Utah Jazz team sits during the games. I was looking all around. Isn't it cool?

I've got the 'special' stick that Arnie made for me. You know I love sticks. Mom is carrying another shorter stick that I found in Idaho that is perfect for digging caves and tunnels in the dirt. Just a funny angle. or is it a baby big foot sighting? Here I am measuring and calculating how hard I'll have to jump to clear this stream.

Monday, June 30, 2008. I'm still alive and knitting. There are two new finished projects since the last post. One I was out of my mind when I agreed to knit.TWENTY THREE Bluebirds. For the end of school. In the long run they were loved by my son's 3rd grade class. There are even requests for more which as of right now I will not be making. Everything was knit according to the pattern. The only changes were I used fabric paint for the eyes and some left over orange yarn for the beaks. Baby Cable Rib Socks.
