LEJOG Blog: September 2010
http://lejog-blog.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Bike / Kit. Wednesday, 29 September 2010. Itchy feet. That's how it started. A feeling that it was about time that I got out and did something a bit more fulfilling and demanding than the odd game of 5-a-side. Something that I could look back on with a sense of achievement when I'm old and grey. This would need planning, lots of training and at least one willing. So that's how this whole thing got started. Having come across various Lejog/Jogle blogs and found them helpful and insightful training...
LEJOG Blog: March 2011
http://lejog-blog.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The Bike / Kit. Monday, 28 March 2011. My first 'back-to-back' weekend. As the more observant among you may have realised, my promise of on-the-road updates over the weekend failed to materialise. I did try, but it must have got lost somewhere in the technosphere. I'm planning on updating via my phone on the trip itself, so I'll need to iron these issues out sooner rather than later. I also get paid this week, which will enable me to purchase the rest of the kit I'll need. My only quandary is my choi...
LEJOG Blog: September 2011
http://lejog-blog.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The Bike / Kit. Wednesday, 14 September 2011. It is rather sheepishly that I return to this blog, having not posted a single word since before the beginning of our trip, over two and a half months ago. I realise that there were a dedicated few who checked the blog regularly for updates throughout the two weeks of the trip, so many apologies for keeping you in the dark! I suppose I should first confirm that WE DID IT! So I've decided to let some of our photos tell the story. Day 2 - Up and over Dartmoor.

I cycled from Lands End to John O'Groats over 12 days in May 2010. This blog records subsequent trips. Monday, 14 April 2014. I haven't been doing any particularly long rides lately, just commuting to work once or twice a week and the odd weekend ride. Last weekend I did a 15 mile ride up over Ashridge and saw some bluebells poking through. Then on Sunday Nicky and I did a slightly longer ride to Stewkley and back via the Red Lion pub at Marsworth (25 miles). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
