Pick Your Own" Fruit Sales. We offer Pick Your Own visits during our fruit season. Entry is $4 (little children no charge) and fruit is priced per kg. Enjoy access to the idyllic orchards, friendly hosts, photo opportunities, and refreshments. Choose from wonderful fresh produce in the sheds. Seasonal varieties of Peaches, Nectarines, Apples, Apricots, Cherries, Plums and Berries. Visit the wonderful rivers, forests, gorges, bush-walking and horse-riding nearby. In the Fifties the Payne Family moved 300 ancient and wise apple trees from East Burwood to Bacchus Marsh. This was a task with manual hand tools and a classic Bedford truck. Mum and Dad ran the orchard grooming Graeme to nurture and inspire the land. Now Graeme, Jenny and family are cultivating a range of mouth-watering boutique summer fruits to complement the stable of classic apples. Pick Your Own Fruit. Next open November 2016. From Melbourne, approach Bacchus Marsh heading west on the Western Hwy (signs to "Ballarat"). Take the first Bacchus Marsh exit, left onto The avenue of Honour (Bacchus Marsh Road). We are near the township, 2 minutes from the Highway, and a 20 minute walk from Bacchus Marsh railway station. Look for our red and yellow fruit flags. See Google Maps and directions.
