I’ve had to incidents lately that are great examples of life in The Gambia, and I think they’ll make my parents happy, in a strange strange way. Lesson: Ask Gambian women to step in and help. A Gambian male knows the “rules” but often forgets that they apply to white women too. A Gambian woman will not be shy to remind him! Disrespect is no laughing matter here.

Her hair was not falling out in small pieces so she decided to take control of the situation and throw a head shaving party this evening. and less than 24 hours later she is bald. Oh my!
