My Great Yorkshire Run. My run for the NAS AND NSPCC. October 30, 2015. QUITTING, the so-called dirty word in sports and life. No one wants to be known as a quitter. No one wants to be labeled as the guy who just couldn’t hack it . For many, being called a quitter is the ultimate form of disgrace, the penultimate mark of shame for a person. After all, when the going gets rough, the tough are supposed to get going, right? What’s that they say about the quitters? That they are taking the easy way out?

My Great Yorkshire Run. This bubble will never burst. August 10, 2015. Smiles, stuff and stress. We scrimped, we saved and we worked hard to have the things we did at our wedding just over a week ago and all we wanted was perfect. It wasn’t a lavish banquet but a celebration with the people that are our friends. To us, we achieved our perfect. Quick update on the running, and with the help of my running buddies we managed 11k last night and in all honesty we could have done more. We are making good progress. Now that is a sight even I’m laughing at. I’d have to admit I’m doing pretty well at this organisation malarkey. The three course meal planning is not so organised. I chose the dessert that’s it and it’s under 2 weeks away. If they all go to the pub first they’ll never know will they 😑. No such thing as perfect? On 18th February 2015.

40 things before im 40. Revised 40 things list 💙. January 25, 2015. The snow angel is now a tick and great fun along with making a snow lady. The majority of my life has been spent down south and when it snows it’s always been disappointing. It is truly beautiful up here. The countdown is on and still too many to do in time. If I don’t manage them all, I tried and I’ve had a year of great fun trying. Cook a 3 course meal. Have a photo shoot. See the northern lights. Sleep under the stars.
