Trying something new – and a great Pinot Blanc | wine in the 'peg
https://pegwine.wordpress.com/2009/08/22/trying-something-new-and-a-great-pinot-blanc
Wine in the 'peg. Still around – sort of. Trying something new – and a great Pinot Blanc. August 22, 2009. Things have been a bit quiet around here. But I’m still enjoying great wine – I’m just looking for a different way to share my thoughts for now. So I tried something new last night. Since I had left my notebook at home, I decided to Twitter my thoughts as I tried the wines. It was fun, although I found it kind of limiting. I can be a bit wordy, and the 140-character limit made it difficult. Wow Did ...
Cheese @ Mise | wine in the 'peg
https://pegwine.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/cheese-mise
Wine in the 'peg. Laquo; Mommessin Beaujolais ‘Grande Reserve’. March 24, 2009. I finally got a chance to run a tasting in the new Mise. Location (Corydon at Lilac). They’ve done a great job of fixing the place up and one of the bonuses is that they are running a store alongside the restaurant. A store that sells many varieties of great cheese. And they have a private room upstairs which is perfectly suited for wine tastings. Francis Ford Coppola ‘Sofia’ Blanc de Blancs. The wine was pretty good on its o...
July | 2011 | wine in the 'peg
https://pegwine.wordpress.com/2011/07
Wine in the 'peg. Archive for July, 2011. Still around – sort of. July 26, 2011. Looks like it’s been nearly two years since my last post. Yeesh! In my own defence, I’m spending most of my time (and energy) on Twitter these days. You’ll find wine reviews and commentary there, just look for @alecstuart. But the 140-character limit is a bit frustrating, so I may return here for the occasional longer post. And I’m also doing some writing for http:/ www.savourwinnipeg.com. So you can watch for me there too.

A milestone | wine in the 'peg

Wine in the 'peg. Laquo; Cheese @ Mise. Beaulieu Vineyards Coastal Estates Zinfandel. March 24, 2009. In the time between my last post and now, the site just hit 30,000 page views. Considering how rarely I’ve been able to post over the last year or so, that’s not bad at all! In the meantime, I’ll go pour myself a glass of wine to celebrate hitting 30,000 page views. Now what wine goes best with that? Posted in Wine Rants. Congrats A, on four years of wine blogging! A dedicated fan…. On Still around ̵...

Periodic updates about tasty, tasty booze! Sunday, May 28, 2006. Been away, drinkin' lots. So it's been a busy month and a bit over at work and just in general. House sittin' now with a smelly, arthiritic, 15 year-old dog with cataracts (not the boat) until the first, which is good since it's almost over. So I haven't been drinking much wine, except for:. J Lohr Bramblewood Zinfandel. Don't discount 50 at all. Yup, short an' sweet! Posted by Big Roddy at Sunday, May 28, 2006. Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Periodic updates about tasty, tasty booze! Sunday, February 26, 2006. Coffee and French Fries for Breakfast. Well, one month later, and I haven't really tried too much in the way of wines and nothing much has really happened. However, I can give you one wine review. Chateau La Presidente Coteaux Varois 2003. This is one of the few organic wines that I've tried in my time, the other being the Cono Sur. Grenache, Mouvedre and Syrah make up the content and it shows with the rich spiciness. On you mum's farm?

A blog about the truth. Today, it's important for all of us to find our own way to share the truth. Mainstream media and the billionaires will not silence our voices. Monday, July 27, 2015. Truly I am grateful for that and I want to make that clear before I jump into this blog. And for that we should be grateful. ECAA - if it goes through as is - has handed ...
