Saturday, October 9. What an interesting day! After she woke up from her nap we ate dinner, like normal. And that's when it all started! So, Lilyanna continued to cry and resist but by the end of our belly time she did learn how to push up on her knees a bit and she was able to stay up on her arms a little longer then yesterday. I hugged her, comforted her, and praised her for a job well done.

Friday, October 15. Yesterday we were able to make it to the embassy for our visa appointment. I was surprised at how efficiently and quickly everything took place. We signed a few papers, spoke to the consulate for about 5 minutes and that was it! Today we went back to the embassy in the afternoon and picked up Lilyanna's visa along with the rest of her documents. So, we are finished!

Family Fun at the Ocean. Friday, October 22. We took advantage of our final days in Peru and headed for warmer weather and a beach. Before we left for Paracas we took a tour of Lima and spent a little bit of time at the water park. Lilyanna loved all of the lights! We went with a tour on the Mirabus so we didn't have as much time as we wanted to have. I think we'll head back to the water park one more time before returning to the States. It was beautiful.and very romantic ;). We were very spoiled!

Possible Travel Date and Passport Photo. Today has been a day of extremes. A few hours ago we were trying to chase down an officer at the National Visa Center (it's nearly impossible to talk to a living, breathing human being) in fear that our documents had been misplaced.Indeed they were misplaced!
