Monday, April 4, 2011. Chosen as a "Woman of the Year" by NAPW. I received a phone call last week, which in and of itself isn't out of the ordinary. However, the reason for the call was definitely not ordinary. I joined up with the National Association of Professional Women in 2010, and they were calling to let me know I had been chosen as one of their VIP Women of the Year for 2011! Needless to say, I was elated. I'm a little bashful about things like this, so all I can say is, aww.shucks! Catch us on FB.

I went to the gym this morning at 5:00 am to have a session with my trainer and guess what? He didn't show up and he finally texted at 6:30 something when I was on my way to work that he had overslept. This was after he cancelled on me last night. Today's Eats (no pics - sorry didn't have my phone while eating). Before Gym - banana. Drive Home - Planters Nutrition snack pack.

My Journey from At Risk to Healthy Living - 1 pound and 1 day at a time. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Monday was back to the routine for me and I had a normal eating schedule again. Back to lots of good veggies and protein. Monday dinner was the same as Friday dinner from last week - leftovers (first chance I had to eat them) since I made my pulled brisket. Breakfast - yogurt and cheese for breakfast with some trail mix thrown in there. Lunch - chicken and broccoli and a couple of clementines.

Come out to the open house at House Plantation. In Hockley, TX to photograph some of our rental pieces and lovely floral pieces. We loved having her come out, we definitely love the images she captured, and now I'd like to share some of them with you! We'll start with some bouquets for now.
