But as for me and my household, we will serve The Lord." Joshua 24:15. Saturday, December 15, 2012. We can't believe it was 4 years ago today that we left to meet our daughters for the first time in Russia. The last 4 years seem surreal. The girls are 4 1/2 and 6 1/2 now, and doing very well in school and family life. Looking at the weather today in Kras, it is -35. Just remembering when we came home it was -40. Burrrr. But as for me and my household, we will serve The Lord." Joshua 24:15. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Settling into a new routine. Dasha has at least 9 teeth now, and is getting over a double ear infection. Her hair is coming in nicely, and she is a joy to be around most of the time. She eats well, and poops well. What more could a parent ask? Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Both girls are doing well adjusting, and have stayed healthy dispite MaryEllen's cold. They are eating well, and enjoying their new life in...

But as for me and my household, we will serve The Lord." Joshua 24:15. Friday, July 23, 2010. We are enjoying a week away in North Carolina. The girls have experienced the ocean for the first time, and it is a mixed bag. Sasha, after the first day jitters, declared. Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Sasha is growing up so fast. This fall she will attend a preschool in our area, and then next year she will be in kindergarten! Can you believe it? Sasha loves to read the Bible every night, and helps turn the pages.

But as for me and my household, we will serve The Lord." Joshua 24:15. Monday, March 11, 2013. Both girls are doing well in school, and are fun to be around. Each night I go in and kiss them good night, and say a short prayer over each one, remembering how inadequate we are as parents, and how much we need God to give us wisdom and grace as we raise our girls. We can leave them with a lasting faith in Jesus Christ! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). In the Holiday spirit. Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's. 12/5/2008...

The Johnson Family: January 2009
http://bljohnsonfamily.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Living in the corn fields of IOWA. Monday, January 26, 2009. Really what else is there to do in the dead of winter? At least the sun was nice and bright. Jake even got in on the fun. We have been to several playdates lately. I can only stay at home for a minimal amount of time before craving social interaction. Unforunately (for me), Ryan is becoming a homebody like his father. I have to sweet talk him into the Tahoe but once we get out he enjoys himself. Driving the train at Recess in Ankeny. We celebra...

Jolynn and Rich's Russian Adoption Story. Monday, September 19, 2011. End of Summer Update :). We had a great summer! Jacob turned three and time is flying by so quickly. Growing leaps and bounds and he has almost caught up with his big cousin. He loved playing with other children at summer camp so much that we decided he should return for preschool. His time in school has been wonderful, he is adapting well (so is his mommy) and really enjoying himself. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Just a few weeks old.

http://miraculouslyourown.blogspot.com/2011/03/been-so-busy-sorry-for-taken-so-long.html
Jolynn and Rich's Russian Adoption Story. Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Been so busy - sorry for taking so long. We are doing super fantastically wonderful! Our little guy is 2 1/2 and WOW he is growing so fast. Daily we work on mastering the potti, learning letters and numbers - oh and shapes and colors too. I am quite sure that he is smarter than me and knows how to manipulate me for whatever he wants. I of course have spoiled em a lil - just a lil. I have so many pictures and would post them all but.

Pete and Maya: 01.09.10. Monday, December 28, 2009. The past couple of weeks have been the most stressful because of all the "family politics" and the oh-so-Pinoy way of saying "NO." RSVP, which stands for répondez s'il vous plaît. These wonderful "surprise guests" wouldn't be so wonderful "surprises" if guests actually read their respective RSVP cards very well (e.g. We have reserved 2 seats for you). P&M Inc.
Thursday, August 7, 2014. There are a couple more photos from our hike around the red rocks of Sedona that I really needed to post. . . Nate and I show what we're made of from the top of the hill. Water was scarce, and we didn't bring any on this hot, dry day. I barely made it to this fetid hole. Not really. It was a nice day, and we even got some rain before we were through. We have plenty of cold water in our packs, and snacks. It was great fun, an I can't wait to go there again. Posted by P&M Inc.
