Team Shier: To Be a Boy
http://teamshier.blogspot.com/2011/07/to-be-boy.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. To Be a Boy. Max went to Boy Scout Day Camp for his first time this summer. It involved cool things like shooting BB guns, archery.even the crafts were cool and involved activities like hammering nails into wood. I mean really, how fun of a camp is that? Team Shier: Black Hills (deux)
http://teamshier.blogspot.com/2011/07/black-hills-deux.html
Tuesday, July 12, 2011. We headed to the Black Hill for the 4th of July again this year. We went 3 years ago and had a really great time and felt like there was still a ton of stuff to check out, so we headed back this year. We'd go again too! A not-so-conventional view of Washington in profile. Cooking on the fire. Our awesome campground and its waterslide. The dinos in Rapid could use a coat of paint, but are otherwise just as fun for kiddos as they were when I was a kid. Becca and Jordan Duvall.

The O'Reilly Family: April 2013

Saturday, April 6, 2013. The Light Blue Dolphins. George had his first ever soccer practice this morning. He joined the Skyline Soccer program, which meets all over the city but our location is right at 1-25 and University. He is on a team called the "Light Blue Dolphins" and he had the time of his life today! I hope you like soccer pictures, because here come a bunch! My favorite part of today is that George's smile was permanently smeared across his face the whole time. He was having so much fun! Our b...

http://teamshier.blogspot.com/2011/06/it-wouldnt-be-may-without-some.html
Friday, June 17, 2011. It Wouldn't Be May Without Some Graduations. JD got his JD! The camera was zoomed so much that if I moved a millimeter it got blurry, but trust me when I say that's my brother on his walk across the stage. The proud graduate and father-to-be. My brothers and me. Jordan, aka Michele Bachmann. The two lawyers in the family, Grandma Mary Lou and Jody. And sweet Benjamin had his pre-K graduation. Oh we're ready, oh we're ready for kindergarten". We're going to miss Sunshine Preschool!

Team Shier: April 2011

Thursday, April 21, 2011. Walking up to his bedroom door to check on him last night. Seriously - love that kid! Both of them actually! Monday, April 11, 2011. The Password is Spring. The boys' performance of The Amazing Grace Race. Was a couple of weeks ago. It was Ben's first time in junior choir. Both boys wanted to participate last December, but last week, Ben told me, "You know what I don't like about choir? It's just singing." Ha! I hate to tell you, but that's kind of the definition of choir!

Team Shier: Almost 2 months...
http://teamshier.blogspot.com/2011/06/almost-2-months.html
Friday, June 17, 2011. Since my last post. Well, picking up where we left off. Andrew's birthday fell on Easter this year, so I thought it was appropriate to pull this photo out of the archives. Anytime I can use this picture, I do.it makes me laugh! The birthday boy is now 36. It's funny how whatever age, whether it's 30 or 35 or I'd bet 60, never feels as old as I thought it was when I was younger. Aaaand, of course we had blueberry pie to celebrate. Life - quite the adventure: March 2012
http://mychaordiclife.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 12, 2012. Grateful for the gift of today. Life is short. I've learned that all too well over the past 12 hours. God has gifted us this moment and maybe a few or many others here on earth, but all we have is this instance, what we are living RIGHT now. I hate to admit. That I take these moments for granted all too often. Those opportunities to sing another lullaby, do another round of Eskimo. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Life - quite the adventure. Thursday, June 23, 2011. Bear Creek Nature Center. Yesterday the kids and I headed out to Bear Creek Nature Center for a little education at the center, a picnic lunch, and then a hike to follow. The kids loved the nature center with all the hands-on learning. I think we all most enjoyed the honey bee exhibit. They were fascinated with the process and I loved reading that female bees are the only worker bees.I guess that goes for most species. Smiles, and only one "take! Large mufflers, is a sports car, ...
