Restoration volunteers cut, stack and chip or burn invasive trees and shrubs and eradicate aggressively invasive vascular plants, such as garlic mustard, which crowd out native woodland plants. Other groups of volunteers collect and sow seeds, usually on weekdays in the spring and fall. Still others help with prescribed burns to control regrowth of invasive species. Updates will be posted online or sent by email.

Consequently, there wasn't an influx of warblers that generally occurs during the last week of April. Number of warbler species at Pheasant Branch Conservancy for April:. Warbler species last month!
