Instead of going for coffee in Curry Village we went to Wawona and then caught the bus there to go visit the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees- Sequoia trees! Sunday, June 28, 2009. ELLA LEIGH'S TWO MONTH CHECK UP. Ella Leigh had her two month check up on Monday, June 22, 2009. Nona took Ella Leigh for her check up. It was a very hot and humid day in Memphis. It did not seem to bother Ella Leigh, because Nona cooled off the car first and popped her car seat in the back of Nona's Sequoia and off we went! Simple Things
Friday, August 14, 2015. Phillip, the kids, and I have loved having our own space to play and work outside. The kids have really adjusted to the heat, and I find that I haven't been affected by it like I thought I would be. Phillip has high hopes for this corn. It came up pretty well, and we hope it will continue to look good. We also have green beans, cantaloupe, cucumbers, watermelon, garlic, carrots, and beets growing. The kids have recently discovered they can climb the mulberry tree in our backyard.
