Friday, January 27, 2012. Cody is the best! He has rubbed my shoulders with less complaining and more compliance, he has helped clean other things, listened to me in my stress, let me have my crying spells, and lets me eat/order do whatever I need or want including sleep. I sleep a lot. He has been very good! I am very happy and lucky to have him. :). Cody thinks we're having a girl. he is going to be a total sucker which is cute :) We'll see how it goes! Sunday, August 21, 2011. We are here in SLC, only 1/2 mile from temple square. We can even see Angel Moroni's little nose from our back door. Being walking distance to just about everything is GREAT! I have officially ended my first year of didactic craziness, and after a week off to move (and relax) I have already completed my first week of my clinical year. I am starting in my surgery rotation and I have already learned so much and the surgeon I follow is great at teaching me. My mom was such a trooper!

Monday, January 16, 2012. My little brother is turning 16 on Jan 17th. :) I can't believe he is already an old man! Jake is an awesome brother. He just got an old 4-runner which he is proud of. I am proud of Jake for working so hard, getting his grades up, and being an AWESOME kid for the past 16 years. We don't find out what we're having for a while. :). Posted by Cody and Nikki Killpack. Thursday, September 23, 2010. Max's first birthday Party! Max turned one on June 9th and had is first birthday party on June 12th. It was a HUGE success! My wonderful friend, Jessica, thought of using UNO (the card game) as the theme and I loved it! Jessica is incredibly crafty and creative, not mention a great friend so she made or helped me make pretty much everything! This is an UNO card cake made out of UNO cards.(not edible) Jess made it and it added so much to the decor! Getting ready for cake!

Friday, May 14, 2010. Max is 11 months! Our little Maxwell is 11 months.which means HE'S ALMOST A YEAR! How did that happen? At his 9 month check up, Max weighed 19.5 lbs. He was only in the 30th% and I was actually quite bummed about it. I've since tried to make him eat more. I'm hoping at his year check up that he'll be in a higher percentile. He started crawling at 71/2 months and he has funniest crawl. He uses one knee and one foot to propel off of. He's super fast too! I still nurse him and we both ...

The Untold Stories of. Saturday, March 22, 2014. So I was certain I had posted these. I guess I can chalk it up to baby brain. It snowed A LOT a month or so ago for like 3 days straight. The best part was after the storm had passed it all melted away and didn't linger for weeks like we're used to. Eli loved the snow! He could have played in it forever! The first batch of snow. Which was already more than the area had seen in many years. Taking a break. Found him sitting in his flimsy shopping cart :).

I am sure that everybody beside and behind me thinks that I am not paying attention, but they don't realize that the more occupied I am, the more I am able to absorb. Perhaps that is why I don't require my students to be statues as I teach. Anyway, I am at a conference in Orlando: my first District paid for event!
