The Barnhurst Family: February 2010
http://megananderic.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. Farewell thee, Old Port. Farewell, Old Port, you served Eric well,. By saving his veins from an IV hell. You looked strange, awful, and bad,. A reminder of cancer that made all of us sad. So, you will not be missed, no not one lick,. The chemo you delivered made Eric feel sick. But now he is healthy, happy, and free,. From chemo and shots and cancer's misery. We hope not to see you ever again,. Farewell, Old Port, this is the end. Megan and Eric Barnhurst. It has us all in st...

The Barnhurst Family: February 2011
http://megananderic.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. Addendum to last post. Got the babysitting covered. Thanks to my sweet friends near and far who offered to babysit in response to my post. Could go on another vacation for what I'm paying a sitter to stay with my kids, but they are my kids so it's worth it, right? Megan and Eric Barnhurst. Saturday, February 19, 2011. 1: I don't have any friends running with me. 2: I don't have any training partners because none of my friends are doing races this spring. 6: In order to get a ...

The Barnhurst Family: May 2011
http://megananderic.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 22, 2011. Everyday we get to see a mom and dad and their 5 babies playing around - we love it! Here is the momma fox guarding the hole where her babies are kept safe. A little one coming out for a peek. And three little buddies! These guys are usually wrestling and running like crazy, but every picture that Eric tried to get while they were wrestling was just a big blur of brown fur! Megan and Eric Barnhurst. Spring in Salt Lake was lovely, but COLD! If only Erika was here! We have 3 girls in...

Monday, February 16, 2009. Our trip to Utah. Tessa's blessing day at my grandpa's house in SLC. 4 generations of mother/daughter relationships! She was pretty much ticked for the whole blessing, as well as before and after. I couldn't figure it out, because she is normally so good. When we took her dress off, we discovered the culprit: the dress had given her sensitive skin a rash all over her back! Heather made the journey from Cedar City to SLC just to say hello. What committment! Our trip to Utah.

The Dobson Family: April 2010
http://dobsondocumentary.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 14, 2010. New year's resolutions gone bad. Well, so much for ambition and goal setting. But I guess I am improving somewhat, since the last absence of posting lasted 8 months and this was only 3. I haven't started violin lessons yet, either! Oh, well. I'm not giving up entirely. In their hair. It was pretty classic. It wasn't our first encounter with the residents over there and I'm sure it won't be the last! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Colby, Alyssa, Lincoln, and Tessa.

The Burnett Gazette: Fortitudine Vincimus

Circulating from Portland to Boston and everywhere in between. Sunday, April 14, 2013. By endurance we conquer." This was the motto Ernest Shackelton adopted when he led a rag-tag group of men 1200 miles across the Antarctic seas in small, open, life boats after their expedition vessel, rightfully named the Endurance. It's a motto that we've adopted in our family in an effort to get through the crushing grief of these last few months and nobody embodies it more than Darc. You Burnetts are inspiring!
