God is very good to us and we are thankful to be able to provide for our children and spend these special times of year with our family. Sunday, October 14, 2012. This weekend my mom’s whole side of the family got together to celebrate Mawmaw’s 70th Birthday. It was so great to see everyone and I certainly wish we did it more often. One thing that she has wanted for a long time is family pictures. We pulled it off and they turned out so great. Thanks Lindsay for helping out with such a big gang! Friday, August 2, 2013. Last weekend we took a very impromptu road trip to Natural Bridge, Va. JR and I are prone to spur of the moment things like this and I LOVE it! We are trying to cram in as much fun as we can before school and work starts back up. We arrived in Natural Bridge late Friday night, we had all day Saturday to enjoy nature! We can’t go anywhere without playing in the arcade! The butterfly garden was so great! The kids loved it! Mr Paleontologist checking the key:). First post of 2015.

Monday, March 17, 2014. Tournament Season is Here. He handles it better than we do:). TKD takes up A LOT of our life but it is so rewarding to see Lance flourish in a sport that he loves! Tuesday, April 23, 2013. NJ state TKD tournament. Last weekend was the New Jersey state TKD tournament. This is the 3rd tournament this year Lance has participated in to prepare for Nationals in July. He did AWESOME! We swept the division and got first place in forms and sparring. Lance has another tournament coming up this Saturday in Annapolis and we hope to bring home 2 more gold medals! Judge is indicating that Lance won this first round:). Last minute tips from Mr. Gray. Our whole team did great!

Sunday, January 27, 2013. Well we finally had our first snow of 2013! It was only an inch but enough to close school for the day and enough to play in for an hour or so. Those are the 2 most important things to kids so in their eyes it was a success. For me on the other hand it was a huge pain in the you know what! Anyway, here are the pictures. Most of their playing was on the trampoline because the snow didn’t even really cover the ground, the grass was still sticking through:). Christmas was wonderful...

Monday, March 17, 2014. Yes, it is hard to believe that my first baby hit double digits on March 10th. He has grown into such a nice young man and we are proud of him and all his accomplishments. He is still very much an awkward 10 year old who can be just as annoying as he can be wonderful:). Lance and some friends went paintballing for his celebration. Sunday, December 2, 2012. Here is the past 2 months of the Gimmel life:). Ryan performing his brown belt form in the school tournament. Went to Shrek the Halls ICE for my birthday. It was a great night to see Santa. They got a lot of QT with him since no one was waiting! Lance interviewing Papa for a school project. My pride and joy:). We have redone the living room and hallway floors and repainted. My new obsession is gray! New furniture too:) Merry Christmas to us from mom and dad. First post of 2015.

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Ryan’s 8th Birthday. Where oh where has the time gone? My baby is 8! Crazy….but we celebrated at Fun land in Fredericksburg. Ryan was born 2 weeks early giving him a birthday 3 days after Christmas. Not ideal but we have made it our goal to always make his birthday extra special and separate from Christmas!
