This ford is a small one and is easy for any 4x4, but due to the entry/exit slopes its probably not suitable for cars. Sent in by Peter Chesher (01/12/2004). In the Village of Clapham, Just opposite the junction for Green Lane, is a road called The Ford, its also located next to The Swan Public House. There are no restrictions in access to the Ford and once crossed it can be used as a route across the fields to Bromham. Tractors use it quite regularly. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FORD IS ON A BRIDLEWAY!
