Sara's Little Dabblings: April 2013
http://saraslittledabblings.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 21 April 2013. I'm dangerous on eBay. I forget which ones I have and how much money I've already pledged (& spent on other winning bids). Still, I have some pretties and I've done two weeks of overtime to pay for them. I've also finished my exams and essays, so I can relax for the first time in ages! I really like the shape of this 1976 Style 1510 pattern. I can't find anything online for this pattern, so I'm going to assume it's not a popular one! The 1977 Simplicity 7952. Last but not least, I ...

Woolz'N'Yarnz: December 2014
http://woolznyarnz.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 28, 2014. Christmas and into the New Year. Wow, that went quick! Christmas was almost painless. I got the kids presents that they actually needed, eg bedding. And didn't cook to feed 50 instead of the 14 that were actually around. Hence I didn't over eat either. I spun up some lovely fibre gifted to me by a wonderful friend who visited all the way from the UK, thanks Picperfic. Picperfics lovely fibre, Polwarth, kid Mohair, silk. Have a safe New Years Eve everyone and watch this spot!

My photographic life and other stories. Luxury Fibre Club Details. Summer Sale →. August 10, 2015. Machine knitting lace needs total concentration. Or this can happen. It’s ‘clattered off’ as my husband likes to call it! When it does that, it always makes me jump and then swear…bigly! I don’t swear too much normally but ‘clattering off’ gets me every time! Not the first time either, it happened about 4 times altogether. I used some of Uppingham Yarn’s beautiful Lambswool. I wanted to throw the lace carri...

The Woolly Adventures of a Knitting Kitty. Tuesday, 28 April 2015. I don't often post in the week, but I had to pop in and show you the yarn I'm plying at the moment. It's the one that Florence was looking suitably bored at last weekend! She showed a lot more interest once she spotted a bowl with beads in it. I think she thought they were cat treats! I love the bowl; my parents brought it back from a holiday in Switzerland in the 1950's or 60's I think. Sunday, 26 April 2015. In a big spin. I have also s...
