Lucky me got to test Anni's Daisy Shawlette. And get to keep it too as she already had a sample, all I needed to do was check out pattern and make sure there was enough yarn. The yarn is Twinkletoes Sock yarn. Which is gorgeous to work with, soft and squishy with subtle sparkles. I started with 102grams and finished with 2 yrds left over. Emily's the knitter, Clare's the spinner, and we both like cocktails! Wednesday, 15 June 2011. So pleased with this! I've weighed what's left - have 35, so presumably I used 65g in the shawl (but it's wet and blocking, so can't weigh it now). See the lovely texture! I'm really pleased with it, and think that GT will love it. Enough left for me to make a little cowl for me. Its absolutely gorgeous Emily. and how lucky you are to have someone who spins so well! I have a few design flaws in the mitt so I consider this pair to be a sort of prototype! They are so cute and perfect for the on-the-go playful ones!
