Main street transformed from a barren sealed road. Wide enough to land a Jumbo jet on. Into this magnificent sight that now attracts tourists to it's. Forty four years ago a band of conservationist fought. Tooth and nail to preserve the last remaining oaks in the main. Street, against a Council that wanted to create more parking. Planted as a 10 year old.

Every garden is a bit hit or miss; two things that have recently worked out well here are, at top, sinking a plastic tub in the ground to grow primula japonica in, and at bottom, a large oval raised, shaded flower bed with a pathway all around it. Sandy Straits and Beyond. Monday, April 27, 2015. Even under the mangroves the reflections were nearly perfect. I stayed well out from the roost where I expected to find shorebirds and then sat sill on the kayak and let myself gradually drift in closer. When I do this the birds allow a much closer approach than if I paddle in with paddles flashing in the sunlight. Of course the Pied Oystercatchers were there and reflected in the still water. Arija Pilskalns Schwerdtfeger passed on to her next big adventure earlier this month, but in her last days requested that a farewell be posted here, on her behalf. As per her instructions she was privately cremated. We will be holding a family ceremony in the spring, to commemorate her life and scatter her remains among her beloved roses. Min blogg har blivit tråkigt and emo. Alldeles för seriös, var tog humorn vägen? Anser att pilsken är ett avslutat kapitel i mitt liv och hänvisar numera till Svennis. Lyckan sprider sig i hela mig. Min häst kommer om 1-3 dagar. Min "älskling" som han själv kallar sig ringde mig nyss. Mamma är snart hemma och gör mat. Jag har en vän som är stockholmare, fast hon pratar stockholmska! Jag är så glad idag att ni får se en fruktansvärd bild på mig där jag både ser blek och fet ut. Men jag är gladddddddd!
